For Authors
We publish original articles which should be technical, informative, descriptive and educational.
The topics may cover, for example:
- Design and Construction of Bridges with the use of BIM
- Utilization of Artificial Intelligence
- Bridge Information Modelling/Management Experience
- Modern technologies
- Structural Health Monitoring
- BIM implementation
- Interviews
We publish four times a year on 20 February, 20 May and 20 October.
We accept articles at any time. For a specific edition, please send your article at least two months before the date of publication.
Before you start work on the article, please contact us first to confirm it.
We do not impose strict limits on word count or page number, provided the article contains everything necessary and important.
Do not include abstracts.
Always provide all references and sources, preferably in Harvard format, including author/source and year of publication.
As the magazine is online, you can include hyperlinks and videos (eg a link or send us a video that we will upload to our official YouTube page).
The number of images is not limited; typically, it is about 10 – 15 images per article. We can also publish an additional Construction Photo Gallery, which can contain up to 25 photos. Send them in any size, and we will process them for publication.
The images should have a caption or description.
Provide drawings in high resolution. You can send them as pdf, png or jpg.
If the visual materials are too big, you can send them using a file transfer site, eg wetransfer.
Your article will be reviewed by our Editorial Board, and also language checked and edited. We can also prepare its translation. We process everything for publication. We send the finalised article to the authors for approval and final check before publication. We never publish any content without such approval.
If it is necessary to request permission from third parties for publication, please inform us as soon as possible. Where necessary, we are ready to cooperate with you on it.
